Our History

Team Zero Injury

You can not have a construction process without safety being of prime importance.  Safety is in everyone's best interest.  For safety programs to succeed we had to change our approach.  With Team Zero Injury we now look at safety being a collaborative learning process.  First we need to identify and address any safety deficiencies.  We encourage participation by everyone on the project team to discuss any safety issues they might see.  BuildEx provides an uncompromised dedication to training subcontractors on safe construction practices.  On our projects we do not accept anything short of Zero Injury.

Support Our Communities

Habitat Builder Blitz

BuildEx appreciates how much the construction industry has giving our company so it was only fair to give something back.  Giving back one new house to a Habitat family is surely not enough but it is a start.  Brian helped coordinate the project by getting all the necessary volunteer skilled labor to get the house constructed.  A majority of the regular BuildEx subcontractors participated in the Habitat Project.  There are very few challenges that get the best of BuildEx and this was no exception.  All week Brian personally worked side by side all the subcontactors, framing, installing windows, siding, wiring, plumbing, sheetrocking and painting. With the goal of a house in one week, Brian focused the crews to work from sun up to sun down to complete the house.  By the end of the week,  the team proved that it is possible.  The BuildEx house was the only house in that Builder Blitz neighborhood that was finished and passed its final inspection on the final day.  It was unbelievable rewarding to work side by side a future Habitat family.  It was such an honor to participate and we will always remember the experience.
